New Service Department for Archambault North AmericaAugust 2010, Halifax, NS - Archambault North America proudly announces the opening of its Service Department to the general public. With a facility in Herring Cove and many years experience in commissioning, repairing and refurbishing all types of boats, the Service Department looks forward to helping customers with any projects they may have.
The Archambault North America Service Department facility features a large, clean and fully heated work bay capable of taking boats up to 40 feet in length as well as some outside storage and work areas. The secure facility is located 10 minutes from Halifax and has 24 hour security surveillance.
The Service Department offers a full range of marine services: fiberglass work, gelcoat, painting, hardware supply and installation, etc. They are a Nexus instruments supplier and installation facility. In addition to the facility in Herring Cove they are also mobile and can work boats at marinas on while they are on the hard. They have the ability to dive on boats to do hull inspections in the water or to clean bottoms.
The staff has extensive sailing experience, both cruising and racing, in many parts of the world. They understand the varied requirements of sailors, whether it's to optimize a boat for racing or to equip a boat properly for ocean cruising. Boats, old or new, power or sail, are their passion and they look forward to helping customers with theirs.
Archambault Boats, based in France, has been building quality yachts for over 50 years. Over 60 percent of the production is exported through a network of international dealerships, including Archambault North America. Archambault North America started importing the A-series (A31, A35 and A40rc) line of performance IRC racer-cruisers three years go and is now also offering the M34, the boat chosen to replace the Farr 30 in the Tour De France A La Voile. The Archambault North America Service Department has been working to commission, maintain and repair all the boats imported into North America and has a strong prior basis in the marine service industry.
