Happy Easter Victories for Archambault !

Even if none of the Archambault were racing in North America this past week end and after the excellent results of the A40rc « Ciao ! » in the Big Daddy Regatta few weeks ago in San Francisco, it was another Big Easter Week-End for the Archambault fleet in France and in the Far East !

Over 17 Archambault boats ended up on the podium during Easter including eight 1st places in some prestigious IRC regattas. Most of the regattas were raced in windy conditions, not to mention rough weather.

The « small » A31 won for the second year in a row the IRC3 at the Spi Ouest France – congratulations to Olivier Gentric and his crew on  board of « Technichauffage ». The A31 « Loupiot » came up with a  bullet in the Grand Prix IRC out of Brittany France. The Med A31 fleet is also showing a 2nd and a 3rd during the IRC Marseille SNIM (IRC4).

The supremacy of the A35 does not need to be described anymore… With a 1st place at the Rolex China Race (565 nm), Anthony Root and his A35 « Red Kite 2 » proved to the local racers that the Archambault boats are generally leading the pack ! Congratulations to the skipper and his crew. At the SNIM, the first 3 places were monopolized by the A35 « Alhena 3 », « Hector » and « Tchin-Tchin ». At the same moment, the A35 « Ame Hasle » was winning IRC 2 in Brittany and « ATR-Team Winds » was able to get a 3rd at the Spi Ouest France.

On the forty footer class, Greg Kearns and his A40rc « Avant Garde » finished 3rd in the Rolex China Sea Race for his first race with his new boat ! At the Spi Ouest France, « Tiger 2 » took a 3rd when the old version of the Archambault 40 (the A40 and not the A40rc) finished 2nd in Brittany France. But the two A40rc « Joujou Extra » and « Glen Ellen V » based in the Med took a strong lead in IRC 2 finishing 1st and 2nd at the Marseille SNIM.

The Archambault Surprise and Grand Surprise also finished 1st in their division during the Spi Ouest France.

Archambault North America wish to thanks all crew who, again, were able to demonstrate the fantastic Archambault yachts potential in all weather conditions, even when the boats are not strictly handle by pro teams !
